Welcome to Montclair Elementary School

Staff Members at Montclair Elementary focus on providing a nurturing environment committed to achieving excellence. Through quality educational experiences, students will gain the skills, strategies, and desire necessary for lifelong learning. Our students will develop a strong sense of responsibility to themselves, their peers, their community, and all others they encounter on this journey.

At Montclair, we aspire to create a diverse learning environment, design a strong integrated curriculum, encourage children to become self-directed learners, and promote enthusiasm for learning in an atmosphere of equity and mutual respect.  We welcome parents and visitors to visit, participate and be involved at Montclair School where we are committed to student success!

Welcome Mustang Families to the 2016-2017 school year!  My goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of the students I encounter each day! Students should feel secure and appreciated when they enter the learning environment. When students feel secure, they can freely develop emotionally, physically, socially, and academically.

One of the key responsibilities of the Assistant Principal is to ensure that students enjoy a safe and enjoyable ride to and from school each and every day.  Students will be greeted with a warm smile and words of encouragement to start their day.  As Student Services Team chairperson, the SST team and  I will collaborate to provide our students with individualized intervention support and preventative services that will assist them in successful social and academic achievement within and outside of the school setting.

Character development is a very important component of a well-rounded education. The faculty and staff at Montclair Elementary hope each student will do his or her part to demonstrate Mustang P.R.I.D.E. by following our school-wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) model.
